Messiah: Islam

The Qur’an states Jesus the Son of Mary (Arabic: Isa ibn Maryum) was the Messiah or “Prophet” sent to the Jews,[Quran 3:45] and Muslims believe Jesus is alive in Heaven and will return to Earth to defeat the Antichrist (Arabic: Dajjal).
A hadith in Abu Dawud (37:4310) says:

A messiah (Hebrew: מָשִׁיחַ, Modern Mashiaẖ Tiberian Māšîăḥ Arabic language مسيح Masih “anointed”) is a redeemer figure expected or foretold in one form or another by a religion.
Slightly more widely, a messiah is any redeemer figure. Messianic beliefs or theories generally relate to eschatological improvement of the state of humanity or the world, in other words the World to Come.
Messiahs appear in many religions including Hinduism, Judaism, Christianity and Islam.

Messianic Age

Messianic Age is a theological term referring to a future time of universal peace and brotherhood on the earth, without crime, war and poverty. Many religions believe that there will be such an age; some refer to it as the “Kingdom of God” or the “World to Come”.
